A1.    Hypnosis is a natural state of altered consciousness of the mind that is also known as trance. It can be achieved while the person is awake or during sleep. There are different theories explaining hypnosis. It results in focused attention, reduced peripheral awareness, and an increased capacity to respond to the power of suggestion.

A2.    Stage hypnosis is performed as entertainment  for audiences.  Hypnotherapists undergo professional training with the purpose of safely using hypnosis to produce lasting positive change that benefits their clients. The trained hypnotherapist will be registered and accredited by reputable organisations to uphold strict codes of professional conduct. As the profession is currently unregulated, it is always wise to check credentials before you decide on your hypnotherapist.

A3.    The client will first book for an initial consultation. The client’s personal information will be taken to understand their needs, and they will be given a detailed explanation of how we can help. This will help the client to understand the process. The sessions follow a structured format, however we provide a tailored approach in treating our clients, in order to gain the best results for each client. 

A4.   Solution focused hypnotherapy is used to treat a variety of conditions within a relatively short course of sessions. The exact number of sessions will vary depending on the individual circumstances. The client will be provided with an estimate of the recommended number of sessions, together with a written agreement as part of the consent process however you will ultimately be able to decide on the number of sessions that you would like to book.

A5.    All sessions are currently being held online over the internet mainly using Zoom. We can avoid concerns about social distancing, PPE, travel and parking etc., as you can attend all the appointments from the safety and comfort of your own home, wherever you may be based. We happily accept clients from around the world.
